Apple Vacations is proud to announce that the “all-inclusive” Apple Vacations Premium Retreat, held in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, has garnered high praise from agents who attended the event. The unique retreat helps agents better service their clients by providing them with all the tools they need to be successful. “The world-class service was incredible,” said one attendee from California. Another from outside of Chicago agreed. “I have never seen a more comprehensive training before.”
Apple Vacations recently introduced a new product tailored for its high-incoming sales representatives, and the reviews are in—it’s a home run. The new premium retreat is a once-a-year, all expenses-paid vacation for sales representatives can earn points toward the cost of their vacation after booking five qualifying vacation packages.
Apple Vacations Premium Retreat, a luxury all-inclusive resort in Cancun that is a favorite for agents and clients alike, has once again received high praise from clients. After attending a special agents-only event at the resort, where they learned about the latest in travel trends and Apple Vacations’ innovative marketing strategies, agents have been raving about their experience at the resort.
Travel consultants who attended the Apple Vacations Premium Retreat at Dreams Natura Resort & Spa in Cancun in early May were full of praise for the event itself and the interaction with Apple Leisure Group Vacations (ALGV) executives. When will you have the opportunity to hear directly from ALGV management about the changes and improvements being made to help us succeed, says JoAnne Weeks of Acendas Travel. In all the years I have attended these events, I have never had such valuable interaction with management. ADVERTISEMENT I had the opportunity to have a 30-minute one-on-one meeting with ALGV Group President Ray Snisky and Vice President of Sales Jim Tedesco, as well as spend time with Director of Health and Performance David Pritchard and Vice President of Call Center and Operations Anderson Hernandez. The event took place from 12 to 15. May in Dreams Natura Resort & Spa. (Photo via AMResorts) Stephanie Turner of Brentwood Travel also noted that the best part of the trip was meeting and reuniting with the ALGV leaders. Some I had known for years, others were new to me. It was a great way to personalize those connections, she said. The 2021 event was of particular interest to Council members because of the pandemic. I think the event was even more important this year because of the devastating impact of COVID on our business, said April Morganegg of Oswego Travel and Foremost Travel. Dave Lovick of Travel Leaders adds: This year, after all we’ve been through, I loved that the ALGV hosted this event to rebuild our relationship and discuss plans for a better future. Current trend
Like other agents, Lovick found the event fruitful in terms of networking opportunities. I find it invaluable to meet the best of the best in the travel industry – to exchange business ideas, great success stories and plans for the future. There is no substitute for a face-to-face meeting! Bye, bye, Zoom! The event also received high marks for its program, which included the opportunity to give something back by visiting El Porvenir. There, participants were able to meet children from the community and pass on donations collected by ALGV. It was such a special feeling to be a part of such a caring and generous group of representatives who opened their hearts to give these children and families such a special day, Morganegg said. They were so grateful. Wherever you go, you will find beautiful children. A grandmother can convey love in any language. The consultants also had the opportunity to explore the company’s many sales and marketing tools. The new Special Request Desk Chat will eliminate the need for calling, Wicks said. The access to the booking tabs is a wonder! The new group technology and group dashboard will make working with groups much easier. She was also full of praise for VAX VacationAccess. ALGV offers the opportunity to work with one of the best self-booking systems in the industry, with six different suppliers covering a wide range of different destinations, she added. Honestly, if you’re not working with VAX, you’re not working smart. At the end of the day, ALGV has been a very fair company and tries to work with us when problems arise, Turner said. Over the years, our business has grown with them because they usually find a way to make things work. Whether it’s helping us choose the best airline, helping our agents upsell customers when possible, or troubleshooting problems, they go out of their way to make us look good. I think they appreciate our partnership.Apple Vacations has announced that its Premium Retreat Package has won the 2012 Diamond Award for “Best New Resort Package” from the International Association of Travel Agents (IATA).
