The Government of Grenada has updated the country’s COVID-19 travel document to include the following changes: – Travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico may now be undertaken on the document. – The document is now valid for three years, not two. – The travel document is now available in English and French. – The head of state is now listed as the President of Grenada, not the Prime Minister.
The government of Grenada has recently adopted new rules for the issuance of visas to travelers making their way into the country. The new policy requires that all travelers wishing to enter Grenada must hold a passport which is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival. Additionally, each traveler must have a round-trip ticket for the specific date of travel, with proof of payment.

Grenada, a Caribbean island, has been one of the most effective COVID-19-fighting locations in the world, but stringent entrance procedures have been a big part of the virus’s triumph thus far.
Nonetheless, this summer’s criteria for visiting the magnificent Spice Isle and Caribbean Culinary Capital have altered. All visitors to Grenada above the age of 13 are needed to be properly vaccinated against COVID-19 as of July 31. On arrival in Grenada, travelers aged six and above must additionally show a negative RT-PCR test. Visitors who have been fully vaccinated will still be required to quarantine for up to 48 hours at their authorized lodging while waiting for the results of their PCR test.

Visitors under the age of 13 who are traveling with a fully vaccinated party will only be required to quarantine with their parents or travel group for up to 48 hours. Children over the age of 14 who are eligible for the vaccination but have not been vaccinated will be forced to quarantine with their travel party for up to seven days.
Travelers to Grenada will also need to apply for a Pure Safe Travel Authorization Certificate and possess proof of a confirmed reservation at a Ministry of Health Pure Safe Travel approved accommodation for a minimum of seven nights. If your stay in Grenada is less than five days, you’ll need to remain at your accommodation until you leave.
The US State Department has advised Americans to take standard precautions in Grenada as of July 12, while the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 1 Travel Health Notice indicating a low COVID-19 level. Since the pandemic started, Grenada has only recorded 164 COVID-19 cases, with just four instances since the beginning of May 2021.
