Holland America Cruise Line has announced that the ms Oosterdam, home to an innovative bar that allows guests to serve themselves, will maintain year-round operations in the Mediterranean in 2021. According to the company, this will be the first time in the company’s history that one of its ships will operate year-round in the region. The Oosterdam will be based out of Venice following a Mediterranean season that will run from April to November.

The ship will embark on 12-day voyages as Holland America resumes operations and the cruise industry begins its comeback.
Eurodam resumes flights from Westerdam
Once Eurodam completes its series of four cruises to Greece this summer, the ship will take over from Westerdam for cruises in the Mediterranean. The paving of the Euro goes from 12. - 18. October: Venice (night); Dubrovnik; Kotor; Corfu and Katakolon, Greece; Naples, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Livorno (Pisa/Florence), Italy; Cannes and Marseille (Provence), France; Barcelona.
- 30. October: Barcelona, Cartagena, Malaga (Granada) and Cadiz (Seville), Spain; Lisbon, Portugal; Funchal, Madeira; Ponta Delgada, Azores; Fort Lauderdale.
Customers who had booked a place on the original Westerdam cruises will be automatically transferred to the Eurodam, which departs on the same dates. Guests will be transferred to a similar cabin.
