Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd, a hotel ownership and management group with an upscale portfolio of 18 distinct and visually exciting properties, as well as the historic Napa Valley Wine Train, is pleased to announce its new brand term – Tropical Distancing – to highlight the safe and social practices of distancing at its hotels and resorts in warm weather. Idyllic coastal stays with packages and amenities at tropical distance include: San Diego Mission Bay Resort, Kona Kai Resort & Spa, La Playa Beach & Golf, Ocean Key Resort & Spa, Pelican Grand Beach Resort, The Portfolio Hotel & Marina, Solé Miami, L’Auberge Del Mar, as well as the newly renovated jewel of the collection, Little Palm Island Resort & Spa, the only private island resort in the United States.
We were delighted to add the Tropical Distancing brand as our hotels and resorts will once again welcome more valued guests to experience our creative programming, outstanding hospitality and safe, socially conscious practices, said Don Dennis, president of Noble House Hotels & Resorts Operations. We invite enthusiastic travelers to explore Art of Tropical Distance’s programs such as private dining on the beach, hotel buyout opportunities, outdoor adventure packages, working with hotel facilities, and more.
At Noble House, guests can easily do what they would do at the beach, thanks to new secure outdoor programs and packages. Both Kona Kai Resort & Spa and LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort have private beaches, which is rare in their area and allows the staff to safely control the capacity of guests while keeping the lounge chairs and cabanas well defined. The Mission Bay Resort in San Diego recently completed a $32 million renovation of its sprawling 18-acre property, which resembles a campus. It now offers guests plenty of space to explore a 4,000-square-foot outdoor pool, spa and fitness center, as well as five tennis courts, gift shop, restaurant and poolside grill. Portofino Hotel & Marina has introduced new wellness programs to encourage guests to enjoy the outdoors by opening the new Dockside Adventure Center and partnering with renowned brand REI to offer customized outdoor excursions and rentals of stand-up paddleboards, single and tandem kayaks and beach cruisers. Ocean Key Resort & Spa has also expanded its outdoor adventure program with new multi-day experiences ranging from full-day reef fishing to seaplane and jet ski tours. Solé Miami has unveiled a Shelter in Paradise package designed for guests who want to plan their Florida coastal vacation without compromising safety, while enjoying a selection of thoughtful amenities.
In addition, the renowned hotel company has announced a new buyout package for its most remote resort, Little Palm Island Resort & Spa, for those looking to book the entire property for the ultimate tropical getaway. Guests of Little Palm Island Resort & Spa can now book the four-acre estate in the Florida Keys from $250,000 per night for a minimum three-night stay. Guests can enjoy VIP access to 16 Escape Suites, 10 Romance Suites, two Island Grand Suites and two Island Premiere Suites. This package includes transportation to and from the island on a private yacht, gourmet breakfasts, lunches and dinners for up to 60 guests per day, and full access to the newest world-class spa. Guests can also explore the area with a variety of water sports, including paddleboards, kayaks, day yachts, motor boats, fishing equipment and snorkeling gear.
To complement the launch of the initiative, Noble House has also created several new retail products with the tagline Tropical Distancing to embrace the lifestyle, including sun hats, bags, towels and clothing that will soon be available for purchase at resorts.
The collection also includes the new Tropical Distancing beverage program with a variety of premium bottled and canned cocktails, canned spirits, seltzers and wines, as well as a wide selection of local beers. The way travelers can enjoy their new frugal lifestyle on the go and cocktails without touching – these new offerings can be found in the room or ordered in advance to make the most of their hotel stay. The Can Do Attitude Drink Bucket includes a selection of easy-to-make beach drinks, a tropical distance drink, a drink bucket and more to start the holiday they’ve been waiting for.
Gift of Tropical Distance e-gift cards are also available at all resorts in the collection, such as this card for the Portofino Hotel & Marina. At a time when everyone needs and definitely wants a little travel therapy, the opportunity to give the gift of a warm, beach vacation is more appreciated than ever.
