Visitors entering Magic Kingdom and other Walt Disney World resorts now have a brand new option: via their mobile phone with Disney MagicMobile. The new feature, available through the My Disney Experience app and currently only available to iPhone users (running iOS 14.4 or higher), allows guests to avoid ticket purchase lines before heading to the theme parks.
At the kiosks at each entrance to the park, visitors must be in possession of a pass with a theme park entry ticket or a Magic Band to enter the park. For those who opted for the former, even if the tickets were purchased in advance online, that meant standing in line at the ticket counter to charge your ticket to the amusement park. These guests can now bypass the ticket box and enter the park using only their phone.

Similar to contactless payments, Disney’s new MagicMobile allows users to show their theme park ticket by tapping their phone. Guests must set this option in advance by following the instructions in the My Disney Experience app.
After clicking on the Disney MagicMobile Pass, guests must set up their mobile pass. This option allows you to personalize your passport and add other people, for example. B. Children – add. If you give the app Express Pass access, you can even use the touch feature without having to unlock your phone, which is especially useful if your phone’s battery is low.
The MagicMobile pass is very similar to Disney’s Magic Band, in that it can also function as a hotel room key. This means you no longer have to wait at reception to check into a hotel room. Your Walt Disney World Resort will send you a notification when your hotel room is ready; maps of the various accommodations are available on the My Disney Experience app, and you can just walk into your room.
Visitors can even link their Disney PhotoPass photos and videos to the app to tie them directly to their profiles. Apple users can also use their Apple Watch to access parks and hotel rooms.
Walt Disney World is constantly improving its operations to make it as smooth as possible for guests. They’re already testing facial recognition at the Magic Kingdom entrance. MagicMobile is still in its infancy, and Android users should have access to this feature soon.
